Thank you for visiting my web page, where you can see images of my cyanotype visions realized.
My garden comes alive through the cyanotype process developed in England by Anna Atkins in 1842. When I discovered this printing method, I was hooked! My response to the Prussian blue images the process produces was overwhelming. I immediately saw the possibilities of using my perennial garden as a contributor to my artistic goals.
Combining cyanotype, watercolours, inks and pastels allows me to create garden landscapes and designs that challenge former perceptions of botanical illustration. The vines, florals and interesting leaf patterns of my own garden are all here, seen in a new light.
